1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Story Forge, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our service.
2. Description of Service
Story Forge is a collaborative storytelling platform that uses AI to generate novels based on user input. Users can create stories together, publish them to our marketplace, and earn revenue from sales.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities under it.
4. Content Ownership
Your Input
You retain ownership of the creative ideas and prompts you contribute to stories.
Generated Content
Stories generated by our AI are jointly owned by all contributing participants. By publishing a story, all co-authors grant Story Forge a license to distribute and sell the work.
5. Revenue Sharing
For published stories sold on our marketplace:
- 70% of net revenue goes to the co-authors (split equally by default)
- 30% is retained by Story Forge for platform operation
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Create content depicting real people without consent
- Generate content involving minors in inappropriate situations
- Use the service for illegal purposes
- Attempt to circumvent content moderation
- Abuse, harass, or harm other users
7. Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. AI-generated content may contain errors or inconsistencies. We're not liable for any damages arising from use of the service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
